Can I get a signal?

To see what service you can recieve click on the mobile broadband providers logos below and check their coverage maps and info, in extreme cases a host of issues can contribute to you being marooned in a wifi blind spot, even in areas with good coverage! One way you can ensure you have a signal in your locale is to get hold of a 3g mobile phone connected to the mobile broadband provider you were thinking of using, if it recieves a signal then you are in business!. One thing I cannot stress too strongly is that it must be a 3g phone and not the more common 2g type. You can identify a 3g phone by looking for the figures 3G on it's lcd display. One last consideration is that you will probably want to use mobile broadband away from home so think about the areas you will travel in (some providers have international coverage). Also check the ISPs returns policy should you be desperately unlucky and not be able to recieve a signal, most ISPs have a 14 day cooling off period.
